The Association of Pediatric Program Directors (APPD) is committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you the most powerful and safe online experience. This Privacy Policy governs data collection and usage by APPD and applies to its website, other platforms used to facilitate management of the services provided to you (e.g., conference registration sites); and any additional means by which you share your information to APPD. This information may be used by APPD for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the APPD website.

APPD also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from APPD and its affiliates. APPD may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.

APPD may sell, rent or lease its membership list to trusted partners to send you email or postal mail about a particular offering that may be of interest to you, or may provide your data to third parties to arrange for deliveries and other benefits of membership such as, but not limited to, Academic Pediatrics. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to APPD, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

Security of your Personal Information
APPD secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. APPD secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of industry-standard encryption. such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

Changes to this Policy
APPD will occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect company and customer feedback. APPD encourages you to periodically review this Policy to be informed of how APPD is protecting your information.
