DATE CHANGES FOR 2013 MATCH


Program Directors and Coordinators should be aware of date changes for the 2013 match. The main change is that Dean's letters (MSPE) will be released a whole month earlier than usual!  Additionally, you won't be downloading applications until September 15 next year. Date Changes for ERAS 2013

MSPE Release Date: October 1, 2012 - MD applicant MSPEs are released to programs*

October 15, 2012 - DO applicant MSPEs are released to programs

September Application Cycle Start Date:

September 15, 2012 - ACGME accredited residency programs begin receiving applications*

*New for ERAS 2013

Also, now is the time to wash up on SOAP (Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program), aka the "managed scramble". I know no one wants to think about scrambling for your program or a student at your school…but it is best to be prepared! Check out the FAQs on the NRMP page:
