Action Teams
APPD Action Teams are created on an ad hoc basis to address acute ‘hot topics’ of interest to the APPD. Some of the past action teams have included responses to the IOM Duty Hours Report, response to the ACGME Procedure Log, response to the Pediatric RRC revisions, and other issues.
This page will have periodic updates and information on past summaries, action calls, discussion boards, and other methods to obtain real-time APPD member input on pressing issues.
ACTIVE ACTION TEAMS
Response to ACGME Duty Hours:
The APPD held multiple conference calls, solicited wiki/web comments, and developed a response to the ACGME proposal which can be found by clicking here. After the ACGME Board meeting this Fall, we will hold other discussion formats to consider models of solutions and implementation of the final requirements for 2011. Past APPD summary responses are in the files below:
